Sorry, no pictures with this one but I just had to share a cute moment. :) Tonight, after dinner, Owen took his usual route to the snack cupboard. It never fails, no matter how much he eats he seems to want more! Tonight I let him grab his bag of Teddy Grahams for a little dessert. He proceeded to take a seat right on the kitchen floor and eat them one by one out of the bag. Now, of course, Sadie is right up in his face waiting for something to drop. So what does Owen do but decide to share with Sadie! This is how it went for a while. Owen would eat one, then Owen would feed one to Sadie. Once in a while he would get one up to Sadie's mouth but then quick take it away and eat it himself. Needless to say, Owen has a new best friend!
After this went on for a while, I put some in a little bowl so Owen could just eat out of that and not eat the whole bag. Well, Sadie was sticking her whole schnoz in the bowl and Owen didn't like that so much. He wanted to go sit in the living room. We went in there and sat right on the floor together. I changed the TV station to The Goodnight Show on the Sprout channel and the show Caillou was on. Owen is not a big TV watcher but he was into this tonight. So, he brought his little bowl over, sat right on my lap and laid his head back onto me. He sat like this for probably the longest he has ever sat still! (maybe 15-20 minutes) It was so fun to just cuddle with him, watch him eat out of his little bowl, and talk to him about what Caillou was doing. (feeding a lamb a bottle with milk) It was just one of those moments that melts your heart and makes it all worth it! So, that is my cute story for today. I will certainly share them as they come along...although when is Owen not cute?? ;)
