Our New Home

Well...we did it and survived! We have made the move and are slowly unpacking. (well, I don't know about slowly--I've been in psycho overdrive trying to get everything in its place! I can't stand for things to sit in boxes!) I am so thankful we had so many family members and friends to help us out. We couldn't have done it without you! THANK YOU! Owen seems to be adjusting OK. I think he is just exhausted from all of the commotion. He's been a little bit whinier than usual but is sleeping fine. Thank goodness! I was worried about that. I think he is just having a little bit of a hard time since he got a lot of attention over the weekend and now we've been so busy putting stuff away and now his undivided attention is gone! This morning, Tom went and played with him on his new slide outside and I sat down with him for a while and read some books. He also helped me clean and he was much better after that! Hopefully, soon we will all adjust to the new place. It is still a little sad to think we aren't right in the city anymore but hopefully it is worth it. We went to IKEA last night and it still felt like we were just driving back home...this doesn't quite feel like home yet but I hope it will soon! What a HUGE adjustment this is! Well, I have to go find the nearest mailbox or post office! Go to http://www.theliesters.shutterfly.com to see all of the photos of the house. Thanks again to everyone for helping us! Hopefully I can keep the blog a little more updated now that we aren't so crazy busy!
