Makes Me Smile

So even though our lovely dog woke up Owen from his nap WAY too prematurely today and even though Owen was incredibly crabby he still manages to stay the cutest things! I found myself smiling and chuckling a few times today. (Although I usually smile and chuckle at something he says daily) Here were the things that made me smile today:


"Let's go pick greener beaners."

"Kyle is my best friend ever. I miss him." (how sweet is that??!)

At bedtime I left the room and Owen proceeded to throw his blanket and monkey out of his crib. As a result, he was crying...I go in there and give him his blankie and monkey and said night night. He proceeds to get this big pout on his face and puppy dog eyes and says, "Mommy go get blanket and pillows." So even though I really wanted to watch Bachelorette how could I say no to those puppy dog eyes? I laid on the floor for the next 20 minutes....

Finally, here is a pic of Owen you may enjoy. He put his galoshes on one day all by himself and said, " I did it!" He now loves to put them on and wear them quite often!
