So today marks the day I hit 21 weeks! I cannot believe it.
The end of August/beginning of September seems so far away but I'm sure it will fly by. I guess it seems so far away considering it doesn't even feel like spring here...not even close to summer!
This pregnancy has been going well thus far....yes, I have acne way worse than I have ever had in my life. It rebels teenage acne.
And... I already cannot sleep well at night because my hips or tail bone become sore if I lay in one spot too long.
Therefore, I am beyond exhausted most days. I am a huge fan of naps....
Oh and then there are the irregular contractions...which, with Owen, became more than just irregular and I ended up on bedrest. I hope and pray it does not happen this time! We will see....
But, with all the minor complaints I have, I will take them. I will take the acne, exhaustion, and the soreness.
It will be completely and totally worth it in the end!
And nothing beats those little baby kicks..... I could just lay around all day and feel him move inside me. Such an awesome, amazing feeling.
He greets me every morning with little nudges. I just lay there in the silence of the morning and soak it in.
I love it. I love him.
Then there is Owen.
Owen is just too cute and sweet. I think he really is getting excited. He still likes to kiss my belly and now he's gotten in to tickling my belly too. It is the cutest thing when he says, "my baby brother...." It comes out something pronounced like "bro-ver"....you know what I mean, right? I love to hear him say my baby brother. He has decided his name should be Liam and I have no idea where he picked that up. I did not suggest it nor does he know anyone named Liam....very strange. It's a cute name but we have a long list at the moment. Nothing that my hubby and I really agree on either--ha!
So there you have it, 21 weeks in a nutshell. I'm feeling thankful, blessed, and so excited!
