I love little places like that. I really miss living by the Mississippi River. It has so much life. Yeah, I live by a few parks & ponds, but it's not the same... Brady lived in the neighborhood since he was a 5, so by the time I met him in the neighborhood... he showed me everywhere and I yearn to revisit it.. We were so heartbroken that his dad left the neighborhood. My parents still live in the neighborhood, but it's not the same...
I love these captures. And it made me smile when you typed, sand in your mouth. The boys will surely remember places like this. And they will take their friends there one day, too! I have a joy sharing places with friends (& Brady) where my parents used to take us.

These are all so great. I live a couple blocks from the Mississippi and a great walking path. It's easy to get down to the water in some places and I used to take my kids there and scavenge for rocks and feathers. My hubs and I still go and hang out. It's like another world.
