A First

The other day, I was taken on a new path in this little photography journey of mine...

An old co-worker of mine asked if I could take her son's senior pics...

I warned her that I've never done them before....

But, she still wanted me to do the honor....

She had faith in me and I truly appreciate that!

Especially when I'm venturing into something a bit foreign to me....

I must say....

It was a blast.....

Don't get me wrong, I love capturing the love of families and all of the adorable children.....

But, a subject that isn't moving makes the job just a tiny bit easier... :)

It was a nice change of pace.....

And a wonderful subject he was.....

Thank you so much for the honor my friend and having a little faith in me!

Now, for the pictures of my first senior shoot ever.....

Wow! These are great! I love the colors and the location!

I know, I had butterflies when my co-worker asked me to do her engagement photos. That's like.... serious! It always is an honor when people ask you to take their photos. Naomi, I really do adore your work.

Great job!

These are so great!! You did a wonderful job! My favorite is the one where he's standing in the alley with his arms crossed. Love it.

Amaaaazing!! Love them all. Love the ones in the ally and the one where he is looking up at the camera - the black and white. Gorgeous! Keep up the senior photo taking!

Senior photos were the first thing I was asked to do. Definitely got me a little nervous. I loved it though. I usually prefer working with children because I somehow feel that I'm on the same level as they are. :)

LOVE the B & W where he is looking over his shoulder. And the one with his arms crossed in the alley . . . perfect! You did an amazing job. I'm sure the family will be pleased.

Love them Naomi! Love the downtown building shots especially. Looks like a part of my hometown, was quite eerie!
