My dear mom came and visited....
She made it a lovely weekend....
I could not ask for a better mother....
She cooked me dinner.... (and put a roast in the oven the day she left so we'd be well fed yet another day...)
She baked me cupcakes...Owen frosted and sprinkled them...
She watched the boys so the hubby and I could go out for a nice birthday lunch and ice cream afterwards...
She entertained Owen for hours and hours on end (he loves his grandma and I basically do not exist when grandma is around!)....
She appeased Owen and helped him work on a big surprise project for me in the basement... my own secret garden, a birthday banner, lots of balloons, and presents (a picture, ring, bracelet, and flower). He was so proud and my heart melted right there.....
She brought me little gifts...
She bought me lunch and a delectable cake (think lots of strawberries and whip cream) that I am currently eating for breakfast.....
And she brought me daffodils....
Who would have thought something so small could do so much for the soul....
Bright and cheerful.....
A little dose of sunshine.....
So, I will share my gift with you....
Just a little dose of spring to brighten your day....
For everyone needs a little sunshine.....
Thank you dear mum for spoiling me rotten....
