Weekend of Fun

Mr. Owen turned 6 this past weekend...May 5th to be exact.

He is beyond thrilled to be 6!

He keeps saying, "I can't believe I'm 6 years old."

Neither can I, buddy.  Neither can I....

He had quite the weekend of fun... a family party one day and a friend party the next.

(I was brave and told him he could invite a few friends for a little party.... note to self: 6 boys is plenty. Ha.)

Owen was blessed with a great birthday weekend..... lots of laughter, family, sugar, and fun.  He was definitely all partied out and off his sugar high when all was said and done. :)

Where does the time go?

You are the big 6 years old!

You are really coming into your own....

Growing up so fast...

Becoming more independent...

(and a bit more strong willed with a little attitude now and then)

You are so bright...

You can read, write, and solve math problems now....

You are still a lover of animals, dinosaurs, and the outdoors...

 You are so curious about the world around you and how things work...

You are an awesome big brother..

Max follows your every move and looks up to you....

And you are willing to let him be your shadow...

You are still as silly as can be.... 
Still a sweet, sensitive soul....

We are so proud of you...

We just love you lots and lots...
