he may have only worn it once or twice but it is one of those pieces of clothing that you just have to hold on to...
and take pictures of him in it, of course!
now that max is 2, it fits him just so...
and being the biased mother that i am.... i am not sure he could be any cuter....
that little tint of auburn in his hair....with all those hues of fall in the sweater....
sigh....
and to add to the cuteness factor.... max has taken a liking (or obsession) to his big brother's old puddle boots....
he must wear them everywhere...
he has to put them on by himself...
on this day.... he took great care and pride in getting each boot on each foot....
never mind that he put them on the wrong feet....
he was so proud and with a big grin he shouted, "did it!"
so off we went to a favorite little spot of mine... to snap a few shots of my sweet little boy wearing the sweater in shades of fall and his sweet little self trudging around in those puddle boots--wrong feet and all....
oh how this little boy melts my heart....
he has me wrapped around his little pinky....
and those boots on the wrong feet...well, that just tugs at my little heart strings....
moments like these where i just want time to slow down or freeze still...

These are so very sweet. I remember the photos of Owen in that sweater and I can't believe Max is old enough to wear it! Love these.
