A New Sandbox!

Who would have thought finding a turtle sandbox would be such a challenge? This past Memorial day weekend we thought it would be nice for Owen to have a sandbox in the yard. It turned out to be much more of a challenge to get a simple little turtle sandbox. I searched at Target, Home Depot, Menards, and 2 Wal-Marts (Bloomington and Eagan). I had looked last week at the Eagan Wal-Mart and they had two but I couldn't fit it in the car that day so I went back this past Saturday. Of course, they were gone! So..I ended up calling 2 other Wal-Marts and finally, I located one in Woodbury! They held it for me thank goodness! It was their last one. I had no idea these were SO popular. But now Owen has his sandbox! He has lots of fun in it. He loves to try and shovel but he also loves to fling the sand everywhere. He will play for a short while but Sadie is much more interesting. If Owen is not looking in the pictures, he is looking at Sadie! He finds her quite intriguing!



Also, I just had to add this photo because I think he just looks absolutely adorable! He was having some fun running around with no clothes on. Why do all kids love baring all?
