Easter

Happy Spring! (now that it actually feels like it!) Hope everyone had a nice Easter weekend. The weather is gorgeous today so I'm excited to get Owen outside to enjoy it! Unfortunately, my allergies are kicking in so that's not so much fun.
We went to La Crosse for Easter and had a nice time. The whole family was there along with Grandma and Grandpa Alexander. It was fun to see them! My Uncle Brian and Aunt Nancy joined us for Easter dinner so that was nice they made the trip down. Owen had a blast, of course. The first thing he wanted to do when we got there was play toys. So, all weekend we played toys and he'd run around outside with Grandma on occasion. He was sufficiently worn out this past weekend! On Easter, he went on a little Easter egg hunt and loved it. He especially had fun "breaking" the eggs and eating the jelly beans inside. Aunt Hanni also tried to show him how to blow bubbles. It was really cute watching him try but he didn't really ever catch on to the concept. Oh well..someday :) Now it's back to the grind....I work all weekend (my last weekend of day shifts before I switch to mostly evening shifts--BOO....) We have already managed to book all of our weekends through May so it's pretty crazy! The only other exciting thing going on is that I am seriously contemplating going back to grad school to become a nurse practitioner. Tom and I were discussing it on the way home from La Crosse and just decided, for many reasons that I will not bore you with, that it would be a good thing to do. The idea is exciting so I'm just doing some research right now. I will keep you posted. Have a lovely day!
