Amy's Baby Shower-"Let's Fill Her Nest With All the Best!"

Hello. (there is a post to follow this one-just so you know! I'm on a blogging roll today!)

Just wanted to share a few pics of Amy's baby shower as I'm sure some will want to see them.
Amy has been a very dear friend of mine for 26 years so I was excited and honored to be able to throw a baby shower for her. She is going to make a great mommy :)
So, I found this adorable theme on the internet and I just ran with it. It was a "nesting theme"--lots of fun to plan. We tried to incorporate as much bird stuff as we could. Prizes were bird related (notecards with birds on them, robin's egg shaped soap, hand towel with a bird sewn on it--all ordered on etsy) Favors were bird shaped cookies. We had chocolate egg candy, bird plates and napkins etc...you get the idea! It was a great time and I think everyone else had a good time too. :) I love doing this kind of stuff (probably too much) and it was for a great friend so I definitely had a good time. Thanks to my co-host Christine, my mom, Ana, and everyone else who pitched in--I couldn't have done it all by myself!!! Here are just a few photos:
