I've been going there since I was a child and have so many fond memories....
We have continued on the tradition and now meet up with my parents and sisters once a summer.... (we missed you Hanni!)
Owen absolutely adores camping and I think Max had a pretty darn good time too. :)
We had such a blast. I'm actually aching to go again....

I love the BWCA. There was a recent article on the web how they wanted more businesses up there, but what they have is enough. I love how the drive is about 40 mins to the nearest grocery store. I don't feel like it's "real" camping if there are neighborhoods, businesses 5-10 mins away. Not my ideal camping. But anyway, I just got back from my annual family camping trip as well and am itching to go again, at least once more before winter hits. Hoping we get a canoe soon as well.
Kayaks are fun, too. Have you ever been portaging in the BWCA? I'd love to try that as well.
