Owen is ,obviously, pretty much oblivious to what is going on so he had a good old time in the hotel. It was the first time Owen had ever stayed in a hotel and it may be the last for a while! We had adjoining rooms so that was great but it is so hard to be confined to a small space when you have a child that is so active and on the go all the time! He seemed especially busy this weekend. He hasn't been sleeping well due to a cold and cough so that does not help matters. He was up a couple times the night before we left to go out of town and then all weekend he has been getting up at 6 am (which is a bit early for him--and for his parents as well!) He also took very short naps all weekend so that was not so cool either. He managed to sufficiently wear us out! But, he did have fun running up and down the halls with Kyle and Lauren. He also LOVED swimming! He hated the first 5 minutes but then loved splashing his cousins, blowing bubbles (although he didn't quite get how to do it), and kicking in the water. He went swimming on both days and yesterday he said, "swimming, splash, fun." And I asked, "are you going to splash?" He replied, "I will." I had never heard him say that so it was pretty cute!
