What's Been Going On

I'm a little behind but I can't say anything too exciting has been going on these days. My birthday was Wednesday and I had a nice day. Thank you to everyone for the cards and well wishes. I appreciate it! I didn't do a whole lot on my birthday because Tom worked but thanks to Amy & Steffen, my wonderful dear friends, I was able to celebrate a little! Owen and I went to Amy's and did a little swimming & had dinner together. Amy made a wonderful homemade pizza and delicious chocolate cheesecake--probably one of my favorite desserts! Owen had an absolute blast in the pool--I call him kamikaze Owen because he tries to jump into the pool but never in the direction of my arms! He also jumps in like he is going to do a belly flop. It makes my job a little more challenging since he can't swim yet--I think I will have to work on getting him into some swimming lessons! Tom also took me out to dinner last night for my birthday so we went back to Minneapolis to try out a restaurant we've never been to. It was called Corner Table and we both really enjoyed it. They have yummy food and they also feature food made from local and sustainable ingredients so that was neat. We had a nice time. That pretty much sums up my birthday!
Since I'm behind, I also have some pictures from a visit to the children's museum last week. Owen always has a blast. They have a Clifford exhibit right now so Owen loved that. He had a great time running around, going through tunnels, and playing with water, of course. Here are some pics of our visit.

Going down Clifford's Tail

Havin' fun going through a tunnel

Planting the flowers

Say cheese!

Watching the big boys buy groceries

Sitting in the log tunnel

Having a good time going through the log tunnel.

The only other thing to update you on is that I've started a website for Tom's mom at Caring Bridge. This way everyone can stay informed about Pam. There is a guestbook so please don't hesitate to sign it! Check it out at: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/pamliester. Thanks!
