Owen Says the Darndest Things

What would we do without Owen? I can't stay sad or mad too long because Owen is constantly doing or saying funny things. Here are just some examples from the past week:

Sitting at breakfast, "Mommy, your hair looks pretty good."

While I was trying on a dress at a store, "You look pretty."

Watching all the trucks and rollers repave our road, "That's pretty neat-o!"

I said, "Owen you are silly." He says smiling, "Yes, I am silly!"

While in the car I said, "Let's go home and make some lunch. We can have strawberries with lunch." He says, "and we can have some "bur-berries" (blueberries) too. We'll do that plan."

While listening to the radio, "That's not a good song. I don't want that song!"

I forget what Owen was asking Tom about but he goes, "what does that mean, Tom?"


Last but not least....this is Owen in the car today jammin' to the Black Eyed Peas. Not quite children's music but he LOVES it! If you don't understand him he is saying, "I love that song!" and later he says, "hands up!" during the second song.
