This past Friday, it was my good ol' birthday!
It was a milestone birthday. I won't tell you which one but you could probably guess.
And I must say, it was a lovely day.
Nothing too exciting, just time spent with my boys. That's all I needed.
Plus, a little DQ. : )
But, I had to do something special to remember entering a new decade in some way.....
You see, we have this room that has been longing for things to fill it and I have longed for a piano to be placed in that room. I missed being able to just relax and play a little tune.
So, I bit the bullet, (my husband chipped in as a birthday gift) and treated myself to a lovely piano!
It isn't brand new...I like to say it was loved.
The color is lovely, it sounds beautiful.
I have a feeling we will enjoy it for many years to come.
And we may just have a future Mozart in our midst.....ha.
But, so far, he loves it as much as I do....
