Owen~isms

Time for another edition of Owen~isms!

It has been a while since I've done this....

But, I must document these little snippets Owen comes up with.

Because they are pure, funny, honest, and sweet.

Because he makes me smile and laugh Every. Single. Day.

And hopefully one day he can look at these and laugh too.

We can laugh and smile together.

And remember those days when he was small and said the darndest things..... : )

Without further ado here are just a few Owen~isms....
(In reality, I can only remember so many...I need to get better at writing them down!)

"I like my family."

He comes up to me, gives me a hug and says..."I like you mommy." Melt my heart.

We were going out to lunch with a couple of my friends and their kiddos to none other than Mcdonald's.  I told Owen we were going to eat inside and he says excitedly, "Yeah! Then we can sit as a whole family!"

Owen calls his underwear "unders" and it is just about the cutest thing ever when he says it.

Kicking the soccer ball around with his Daddy he puts his hands on his hips and says confidently, "I AM GOOD!"

"Sometimes I toot real loud and scare away the lions and tigers." Ugh. Where does he get this stuff?

Owen: "Daddy, I don't want you to work."
Tom: "But I have to make money."
Owen: "But, I don't want money." sigh. If only it were that simple! :)

Owen has one of my old cell phones and one day he was playing with it. Tom asked him what he was doing and he replies, "just texting Tyler."  oh dear.....he knows what texting is already!!!??
(P.S....Tyler is Owen's imaginary friend....I don't know where he came from but we hear a lot about Tyler at our house. It's pretty cute.)

So there you have it...another edition of Owen-isms. Hope it brought a little joy to your day!

So funny :) They say the funniest things, don't they? I need to start keeping track of them. They are priceless. Jack said a platypus was under the chair today and snakes in the trees. LOL

Oh, I've had to explain the money questions as well. I wish it was that simple. "But why?" "Because!" I still get the looks that says "But it makes no sense!" And I feel like saying: "Yes, I know! I think it sucks too!"
