I Have a Secret!

Someone please pinch me.....

For what I'm about to say is something we have dreamed of, prayed, and longed for.....

for a very long time now....

It has been one roller coaster of a ride.....

I am almost still scared to post this....for fear that my secret is too good to be true...

But, I know it is all up to God and in God's hands....

I am putting my trust in Him....

And I will continue to pray that everything will be OK...

So, if you haven't guessed my little secret:

We are going to have a BABY!!!!!

Due to arrive September 2nd.

And our sweet boy is going to be a big brother!

16 weeks....

There is no doubt in my mind Owen is going to be a great big brother.

The baby has been mentioned to him but I don't talk about the baby too much yet.

I wasn't really sure how much he would get it.

But, Owen never ceases to amaze me. He will randomly come up to me and kiss my tummy and say hi to the baby.

The other day he came up to me and said "I like you mommy and I like the baby too." He then proceeds to give my belly a kiss... *sigh*...just melt me into a big puddle right there...

He has also told me, "your baby is getting big!." HA.

So...there you have it.  My secret is revealed!
One explanation for my lack of blogging, etc...my mind has been very distracted and focused on this little one. I have been worried a lot and a bit neurotic but I'm feeling like I can breathe a little easier these days. I really wanted to announce because I really want to start documenting.....for I did not have a blog when I was pregnant with Owen. I want to document my thoughts, my belly, everything....and I really need to document a major milestone...

I am certain I am feeling baby move!

What an amazing feeling. So reassuring to me. To know this little peanut is doing OK.

I am feeling thankful and so blessed.
