Linked 52: Trees

Nothing profound this week. My brain is in dreading going to work mode. HA.

While on vacation, (yes I still have photos from vacay!) the boys and I had a little down time one morning while the hubby was at his conference.

We made our way to something called the Spanish Landing.

A nice little boardwalk along the marina....complete with a beach and park.

But, along our walk were all of these gorgeous trees....

I was intrigued by them.

So different from our trees back home.   So beautiful.

Owen was intrigued too.

Their large roots exposed. Perfect for playing.

We had a picnic lunch under one of these trees.

Owen climbed upon this tree for quite awhile.

We played at the park for a bit but then Owen asked if he could go back and play on his tree. :)

Who needs a park when you have big trees to climb?!

OMG! These trees are so lovely! My jaw literally dropped! I'd have a picnic under these trees, too! Maybe at least once a week! Wow!! I can't get over them! So lovely!!! <3 <3

Wow, they look almost divine. Beautiful! How fun that he could just play on the trees like that. Shows me how simple we really can be. We don't need a lot!

Those are amazing, they look like they would come alive and snatch unsuspecting people off the ground, stow them in their web of branches and play with them at a later time.
I have a strange imagination! :-)
I bet he had a blast climbing on those.

Those trees are amazing! I love how big they are. You don't see trees like that very often. So glad you captured these to share!
