Happy Halloween (a day late)

Hope every one had a fun Halloween! I was fortunate enough to find someone to work for me so I could take Owen out trick or treating and hand out some candy. It was actually a nice way to meet some of the neighbors we haven't met before. We still don't know many people but I did manage to get names of more babysitters---yes! :) Anyways, it was a fun day. Grandma and Grandpa Witzig were able to come down and join us. This was the first year Owen actually got to participate so it was really fun to watch him. We let Owen watch the first kids come to our house and say trick or treat and then he was ready to go! He kept saying, "I want to go trick or treat!" So Grandma and I took Owen out. The first house he didn't really get it and just grabbed candy but after that he did really well--it was super cute to hear him say trick or treat (and thank you!) I'd say his first trick or treating experience was a success!
