So Much to be Thankful For

Well, we did it! We survived hosting our first Thanksgiving! No catastrophes, no one got food poisoning so I say it was a success! Ha ha. I had never cooked a turkey before and my worst nightmare was that it was either going to burn to a crisp or be undercooked! But with a little help from Tom and 5 million phone calls to my mom, we managed to cook our first turkey and it turned out great. I am thankful for that! I am also thankful that we were able to spend Thanksgiving with both sides of the family together. It really was a nice time. We are so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives. It was so good to see everyone and Owen loved all of the attention! Also, a HUGE thank you to everyone for chipping in with cooking, bringing food etc..I don't think I could have done it all my self!! Thank you so much!! I think I can go ahead and say that we can do it next year if you want! Unfortunately, I was a slacker when it came to photos..too much other stuff going on! That'll be my goal for next year...cook the turkey AND take pictures!
Well, I'm going to go relax a bit before I go to work. Someone picked up the first 4 hours of work today for me (for that, I am also thankful--I work with great people!) so I could spend some time with my sisters and mom before they had to leave. We went down to downtown Stillwater and did a little window shopping :)
