"Stopping By the Woods on a Snowy Evening"

It snowed a decent amount this past weekend so we went out in the evening before it got dark for a lovely winter walk.....The poem that kept popping into my head while thinking about this day was the poem, "Stopping By the Woods on a Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost.  The title is more appropriate than anything but I just love the following part of the poem.  It was just like our winter walk.....full of peace and quiet with only the sound of the wind in the trees.... and the occasional giggle by my son when he was trying to throw snow at me-: )

An excerpt....

The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

~Robert Frost
