Christmas Day

I know, I know....Christmas Day was so 2010......I have been a bit of a slacker. Life gets busy, ya know?!  Now that I look back at photos from Christmas I also realized I was a BIG FAT failure in the picture taking department too.  Christmas morning Santa came and then we headed up north to spend time with both sides of grandparents! We packed it all into one day--it was a whirlwind but such a great time! It was so nice to spend it with family and to see my grandparents, whom we don't get to see very often.   Thanks Grandma Lois and Grandma Karen and Grandpa--- We love you!
Owen had a blast opening presents from Santa.  Initially, he walked right by all of the presents because he had to go see if the cookies and carrots got eaten. He was thrilled when he saw they were gone!  Then Owen got into it, ripped open his stocking and presents in about 20 mins. Ha.  His favorite presents were his Hungry Hippo game and slippers. Yes, that's right. I said slippers. He wears them everywhere--too darn cute!  Anyways, so yes, I apologize for the delay. I'm sure you were all dying to hear about our Christmas day. Lol. :) Here are the few photos I managed to take....

oh and p.s.  this week over at i heart faces  everyone is voting for the Best Face of 2010.  If you wouldn't mind popping by and voting for my little Owen's cute face that would be awesome! He is entry #284. There are so many amazingly cute faces out there so I don't expect much but it's worth a shot!!  Thanks a million! :)

You have such a unique style; I absolutely LOVE it! The 2nd picture (of the slippers) oh my! That's what I want my pictures to look like... I need to work on that. Your creativity is amazing; you have such a wonderful eye. Beatiful job!
