I had every intention of posting a different photo but the following photo popped into my head and I like it too much not to share.
Having 2 boys...there's not much quiet around here.
Any peace and quiet in this house is cherished.
Right before I snapped this shot (with my phone)...Owen had taken off his shirt and was jumping wildly on our bed.
yes, I let him and no, this is not a daily occurrence.
Apparently, he had some extra energy to burn off that morning! : )
Eventually, he calmed down and decided he was going to get his piggy bank and count his money.
So there he sat....quietly.
In that beautiful light....counting pennies.
The quiet was there, even if it was just for a brief while.....
and it was precious.

I loved this photo when you posted it on instagram! The light in it is beautiful and the fact that he is sitting in even more so. We gotta treasure every bit of little quiet they take, don't we? As they get older they hide in their earphones so getting them to actually make noise takes some work!

What a great capture of quiet. Yes, life with boys isn't filled with much quiet. Usually when it's quiet they're something wrong!
Loved it on IG and loving it now. Love the light and how it's hugging him. Get him started early on counting money! That way you won't pull your hair out teaching it to him in first grade! :-)
