I'm a bit behind but...
A couple of weekends ago Max turned 5 months old....
We happened to be at Grandma and Grandpa's house at the lake (we had a lovely time!)
Here is a glimpse of our time there....
5 months old?!
How can that be?!
He's going to be half a year very soon.
Then before I know it, he will be crawling and walking!
Ahh...
It's going much, much too fast.
I am loving his little baby self so much right now, I don't want it to go away.
I love his giggles and coos.
I love when he blows raspberries. He does it with gusto too. Spit sprays everywhere. Ha.
I love his chewing and drooling on everything.
I love his chubby cheeks and chunky thighs.
I love his wild and crazy hair.
I love when I'm holding him and daddy smiles or talks to him and he lets out a big grin and nestles into my shoulder.
I love his snuggles.
He just started rolling over. But, seems to already be over it. He did it one night over and over and has only done it once since. I guess he's been there, done that. :)
He is content to just sit in his jumper and jump, jump, jump.
Max, you are growing up much too fast....
Time please slow down....

I remember seeing all of your instagram photos from the lake and loving them.
And sweet Max. So happy I was able to see him before he turns six months! And yes, let's plan another Wednesday playmate soon. :-)
I love these images! Such beautiful light in every one! I still hate watching my kids grow. I want to bottle them up and keep them small forever, but I do admit that it just gets better and better. Max is such a cutie!
fourth one down...stunning...and he looks like you! Love his fuzzy head. :)

oh, my! those are precious. and how funny about the giraffe. i guess this toy is more popular than i realized. i should have known when i saw the display of them at the store... boxes stacked all the way up to the ceiling... a very high ceiling. and that was not including the display in the front. i'm surprised so many sell at that price. but i guess i'm not surprised after all, now that isaac has one. they work so well!
absolutely LOVE the third picture in the second row of your collage. all are so sweet, but that one gets me! wonderful light!
i remember when isaac turned 5 months. for some reason, it was almost more significant than six months or one through four. it might be because that was when i was finally back to feeling myself again, and i could totally appreciate this little guy and how much he had changed.
anyway, i've always taken notice {since i started reading here} how adorable your little guy's hair is. it's a bit like isaac's, but even more wild... in a good way. i so know what you mean about not wanting this stage to go away. they start to get such personality, but without any defiance or attitude. isaac is seven and a half, and that little 'tude is startin' already. but it's just him testing the waters, i think... seeing what he can and can't get away with. trying to teach him young... he can't get away with as much as he would like. =)
lovely post. sorry i have not been by in so long. my life is on the crazy side... and not about to slow down any time soon. i hope you are well. have a blessed week.
He is so adorable! I love these! Melts my heart!
those lips...YUM!! what a sweet, sweet baby boy!!
These are precious Naomi! He looks much smaller then Stella. Gosh and I love his lips and hair. I could just eat him up! :)
