Sprinkler Fun (and Some Random Cornfield Fun)

It has been stinkin' hot and humid this week so we broke out the sprinkler the other night. I had fun messing around with the camera.  Sprinklers are so pretty and Owen was pretty cute too :)  He had a blast and has wanted to do it every night now!  I love summer fun!

And onto my other random pics....I was raised a city girl and never thought I would live in the "country",  so to speak. We don't really live in the country but sometimes it feels that way. And, I must say, I rather like it.  Life feels a little slower. A little quieter. A bit more picturesque, in its own way. It has been great for our family.  Anyways, it seems everywhere you turn around here there are cornfields.  I think they are beautiful.  So, of course, I had to take a few shots with my lucky subject.  I said, Owen go play in the corn. His eyes got so big and he said, "wow, corn!" He loved it.  HA. Here's just a few of those shots :)
