A Summer Tuesday

(*Note: I posted this the other day but realized it couldn't be more perfect for this week at iheartfaces.  Summer Tuesdays is, by far, one of my favorite things about our town. They make me so happy!)

I must say. Tueday evening could maybe not have been more perfect. Well, except for when Owen got uber upset when I threw away apples that I swear he said he didn't want. But that's beside the point.
Tonight was the kick off of Summer Tuesdays in our quaint little town. We discovered it last summer and I was immediately hooked. It is SO MUCH FUN. There is a market, lots of food, music, people of all ages and it is down by the lovely river. It really is great. And this year I actually ran into people I knew. It made me feel like we belonged. What a nice feeling.

So yes, it really was a perfect evening. Great weather. Kids everywhere. Kids dancing. Kids smiling. Kids splashing in the river water that is overflowing onto part of the walkway....Young couples. Old couples. All smiling. All having a good time.

All of these things made it a great evening. It probably couldn't have been a more perfect summer Tuesday. I sure do love our little town.... Did I mention it was SO MUCH FUN?!
