Family Tradition

Hello!
So, I am way behind on posting these photos but I finally had a little time today while Owen was at school....

sidenote: any good ideas on how to get your little boy from crying at preschool drop off??   The first day went swimmingly but has gone downhill from there. I think he freaks out when other kids are crying so then he cries too.  It just breaks my heart when the teacher takes him and he's bawling and reaching for me. Just kills me. I just about cried myself the first time it happened.  Poor little guy.  He has fun once he gets over it and loves going--it's just the initial drop off.  I hope it gets better!! Any advice would be appreciated! :)

Anyways...These aren't spectacular photos or anything....just my family, having a good time at the apple orchard.  We went there last weekend while at my parent's house.  We didn't get around to picking apples but we did check out the animals, the huge haystack, and the corn maze.  We have been going every year since Owen was born so it has become one of our little family traditions.  It's one of my favorite things about Fall!  And, although, I was slacking in the photo taking department...I did manage to get a few. I hope to make it to the orchard again soon so we can actually pick some apples!!

Showing how tall he is this fall! :)

I've always wanted to bring the kids to a corn maze... :)

About the crying during drop off --I used to lead J to the clock and tell him when both hands are pointing to 12 that's when I was going to be back to pick him up. That helped with him. Good luck with this. They'd usually be more okay after a week or so when all the other kids have also settled down. :)
